Premises Liability

Many people call them "Slip and Fall" cases, typically because that's one of the most common types of situations. The surface someone is walking on has some hazardous condition that causes a person walking along to seemingly slip and fall to the ground. Premises liability cases are usually based on the idea that the unsafe conditions on a person's property could have been prevented.

Dangerous conditions that can cause injury include:

  • Wet, slippery floors
  • Missing warning signs
  • Exposed cords
  • Poor lighting
  • Broken steps
  • Missing or damaged handrails
